Paint Corrected & Ceramic Coated Split Window Corvette

This classic split window Corvette restomod came to Carsmotology from our good friends at Cruzer’s Customs for a full multi-stage paint correction and professional ceramic coating application. The goal was to refine the finish, eliminate swirl marks and light imperfections, and elevate the depth and clarity of the deep navy paint. After meticulous correction work, the surface was sealed with a high-performance ceramic coating to enhance gloss, add hydrophobic protection, and preserve the finish long-term. 1986 Ferrari Testarossa — Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating

This 1986 Ferrari Testarossa came to us through our friends at Boerne Stage Kustoms, and the owner wanted the paint to finally match the presence of the car. We started with a careful foam wash and clay bar, taped off every edge, and removed the rear badge so no painted surface was left untouched. From there it was a full multi-stage paint correction with Rupes polishers, erasing swirls and haze across the big panels and working the tight areas around the strakes by hand. After a dedicated panel-prep wipe to strip the polishing oils, we sealed everything with NXTZEN 365 Pro ceramic coating for lasting gloss and easy, safe washing. The red turned deep and wet-looking, and the strakes threw clean mirror lines once the correction was done.

Paint Corrected & Ceramic Coated 1967 Camaro SS/RS

This 1967 Camaro SS/RS restomod came in with a repaint that had seen better days. Years of swirl marks and rotary buffer trails had buried the gloss, and the rear trunk lid still wore its original single-stage paint. We started with a thorough wash and clay bar decontamination, then taped the edges and pulled the badges. From there we ran a multi-stage paint correction, cutting the deeper defects with a wool pad and coarse compound before refining the finish with a fine pad and polish for true depth and clarity. After a proper panel prep, we locked everything in with CCi Revolution ceramic coating for a slick, high-gloss, long-lasting finish, and added a 12-month ceramic to the porous matte Forgeline wheels to keep them easier to clean. We also detailed the engine bay, door jambs, and interior to match. Every step was done with material awareness and discipline to bring this iconic big-block build back to its intended finish. Paint Corrected & Ceramic Coated MK4 Supra

This MK4 Supra underwent a full decontamination, precision wet sanding for mineral deposit removal, and a meticulous two-step paint correction to restore depth and clarity across every panel. Water spotting on the hood, roof, trunk, and bumper required controlled 3000-grit refinement before polishing, while faded trim was restored and old badges were replaced to ensure no detail was overlooked. The process concluded with proper alcohol-based surface prep and application of a professional ceramic coating for long-term protection. Paint Corrected & Ceramic Coated 1960 Impala

This 1960 Impala arrived with tired, weathered paint that needed serious attention, and the goal was to bring the color back to life without cutting corners. We started with a thorough wash and a full clay bar decontamination, then moved into a multi-step paint correction using a mix of Rupes polishers and pads. The tightly curved rear hips got extra care with a compact three-inch rotary to reach every contour, followed by compound and a refined finishing polish for true clarity. To lock it in, we prepped the surface and applied CCI Advanced Ceramic Coating for a durability rating in the 30,000 to 50,000 mile range. We even removed the mirrors and emblems to correct the paint underneath, then polished the chrome, taillights, and aluminum wheels. This build came together alongside our friends at Cruzer’s Customs, who handled the engine and custom work. The result speaks for itself.
